Each of the Sound Advice reviewers has chosen their stand out product for 2022.
First out of the blocks is Simon Lucas who has picked the highly regarded Bowers & Wilkins PX8 wireless headphones as his 2022 chart topper:
"I had assumed there was a limit to the amount of value it's possible to add to a product like noise-cancelling wireless over-ear headphones. I had assumed there was an upper ceiling of performance (meaning audio quality, wireless connectivity, noise-cancelling prowess and all the rest), beyond which a manufacturer could only call on luxuriousness of materials and finish to attempt to justify a 'premium' price.
"And yet here we are - in every respect, the Bowers & Wilkins Px8 justify their not-inconsiderable asking price. Uncompromised and uncompromising products never come cheap, but sometimes - like now, for example - they're worth it"
