Sennheiser's original Ambeo Max, launched in 2019, set new standards for huge, hugely expensive and hugely detailed sound. The big brother has now been joined by a slimmer, smaller version, the Dolby Atmos Ambeo Plus, smaller in every respect except quality.
The specification includes a) seven 5cm full-range drivers arranged to deliver two overhead channels, front left, right and centre channels, and left and right width channels, b) two 10cm woofers racing upwards too, and c) 400 watts of Class D power to drive them all.
